The superb location made everything easily accessible,, and the breakfast options were good, catering to various diets including amazing salmon and gluten-free choices.

Unfortunately, soundproofing was lacking. Hallway noise could be annoying at times.

Liked the place, had a REALLY COMFORTABLE stay for 2 nights. The room was neat and budget and with terrace and coffee.

The area was a bit disappointing.

We enjoyed exploring the beautiful scenery and even went whale-watching. The breakfast was abundant and set us up for an adventurous day. The young man at reception.

In my wife's opinion, a kids' play area would be beneficial.

First class service at all times from super friendly staff. Ideally located for all Tromso activities. Great breakfast choice.

Room was a bit small with very little clothes storage and not as shown on the Booked.net website.

The personell was very helpful, friendly and competent. Very good breakfast which offered all needed. Nice room and very comfortable bed.

Thon Hotel offered a comfortable stay with a well-equipped room that included a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee. The breakfast was really good, with a wide range of options including fresh salmon and gluten-free choices. The staff were consistently friendly and willing to assist with any needs I had during my business trip.

Housekeeping could be improved for timeliness and thoroughness.

the hotel is right in the middle of Tromso, the breakfast is wonderful, the room is clean and the staff is very helpful!

the room was on the small side with little space for clothes; it was impossible to heat up the room, as the air condition kept running and it was centrally controlled

Nice hotel ... modern, stylish, practical and clean. Seemed fairly new. Very friendly staff members at the receiption area ... for a city trip to Tromso I would recommend to all. If you're familiar with other Thon hotels... I would rate Kirkenes first, then this one .. followed by Thon Alta.

Breakfast area was too crowded and also during checkout there were 10-15 people in line before me .. the queue was cleared with high speed but it made the whole scene somewhat chaotic... but if we would have checked out 20 mins before check-out time .. it would have been no problem ..

This place suits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi, a fitness center, and 24-hour reception. I still remember how the staff helped me with a bottle of water at night. I had a great experience with the friendly reception team .

Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was not elaborate, but just right. Hotel is convienent to major shopping / sightseeing areas.

Rooms were not very large, even by European standards. Two people could pass at the same time between the bed an the wall.

We loved exploring whale-watching activities and the beautiful scenery. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had, with so many choices. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to walk around town.

One downside was the noise from neighboring rooms, tough to get a good night's sleep a few times.

Staff friendly, rooms modern, nice and clean. Good Wi Fi. Good bathroom. I asked for a 'room with a view' and they did the best they could, putting me on the top floor with balcony and some restricted views across city. On a clear night you could, theoretically, stand outside and see Northern Lights. I suggest you ask for the same.

TV didn't work for all 5 days. They offered me another room, but I preferred the one I was in and downloading programs to watch. Not a big deal to me. Rooms might be a little tight for two people but, hey, get outside and enjoy the town!

Spacious units with 2 beds and pleasant staff. Pretty comfortable area, very central location really close to supermarket less than 10-minute walk and shop & restaurants, airport express bus, and meeting point for day tours.

Thon Hotel Tromso was a lovely surprise, boasting a warm, cute atmosphere and a beautifully decorated dining area. The breakfast spread was really good, with delicious options that catered wonderfully to my tastes as a senior.

Daily housekeeping could be more thorough.
